These are great Anita….what a diversity of form and execution…..I’m curious how you get the students to do such interesting work at such young ages. Kudos!

    • Thank you, Wendy. We have an amazing art department. All our upper school teachers are professional artists as well as educators. Our program is highly reputable in the Dallas area and all my colleagues are so talented at both art making and teaching art! I’m fortunate. My mind never turns off on how to do cool art projects. Sometimes it’s hard to get to sleep at night! 🙂

Loved seeing the Perot pictures and those from your students. Am sending it to my grandson in New York, artist, worked for Zahner architects who did the “skin” on Windspear and Audubon in Dallas.t

    • JJ, thanks so much! If you have any grandkids here in the DFW area, you must, must, must take them to this museum! It’s not to be missed! Is your grandson an artist or an architect? Thanks for sending to him!!!

  3. Gloria Ball says:

Love it! Reminds me of the end of the year art shows at Ozark. Great job, Anita.

Have a dose of what life is really like living here – from my single-handed destruction of the Turkish language, random arguments with random relatives about everything from apples to vaginas to learning the secrets to making the perfect içli köfte! Highs or lows this is my observations from the melting pot of crazy that is my life in Mersin.
